| The major functions of the Data Center of Beijing Municipal Administration of Cultural Heritage are: collecting, classifying, researching and releasing data related to cultural relics, museums, archaeological achievements and ancient artworks market in the Beijing area; editing and publishing two periodicals, namely Beijing Museums of Cultural Relics (quarterly), and Collectors (monthly); and providing services for the scientific research of Beijing museums of cultural relics and decision-makings of government agencies. It is also the standing institution of compiling the magazine Beijing Records and Cultural Relics Records. Other functions include: books and documentation section, editorial department of Collectors and Beijing Museums of Cultural Relics, and an audio-visual center. |
