| Beijing Appraisal Institute of Outbound Cultural Relics |

This institute conducts appraisal and inspection, in accordance with relevant laws and regulations, on cultural relics for which permission to take out of the country has been applied for: It appraises inbound and outbound cultural relics, as well as those involved in criminal cases at the Beijing outlet. It also handles related appraisal procedures.
Functions: In accordance with the Law on Cultural Relics Protection in the People's Republic of China, and state stipulations on export restrictions and appraisal standards pertaining to cultural relics, the Institute conducts appraisals and inspections to determine whether the relics are allowed to leave the country. |
